Iesha Chaney, co manages F.A.I.T.H. Behavioral Services and Wellness Center. She possesses a master’s degree in psychology. As a state approved QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATE, for F.A.I.T.H. Behavioral Services, she manages a staff of 12 individuals in the position of patient care representatives for F.A.I.T.H. She previously worked for Smart Start Child Care Center providing transportation services to children residing near the 24-hour facility. Children were transported to and from the center as well as to and from neighborhood schools. Iesha conducted visual inspections of the vehicles and worked with the administrator to maintain the safety inspections as required by the organization.

Brenda Chaney has worked as an administrator for the past 20 years. During her tenure as an administrator, she assisted in the administration of programs to benefit the low income and disadvantaged persons in the State of Nevada. The programs included directing the delivery of vendor supplies and equipment. Through the operation of food programs for the United States Department of Education and the State of Nevada she worked for nearly 7 years the delivery of food and supplies to food sites to disseminate foods to underprivileged children. This entailed the selection vendor for supplies and the coordination of delivery to various food sites.

The responsibilities in the administration of the food program were to ensure that the drivers were compliant in possessing a valid driver’s license, insurance, health card, CPR and first aid. The duties also included making sure that the delivery trucks were equipped with first aid kits, valid commercial insurance, commercial temperature monitoring devices, dollies and adequate refrigeration. To maintain transparency in delivery operations, compliance was adopted to comply with local, state and federal agencies. Brenda safeguarded and maintained records required by the organization.

In addition, Brenda worked with community leaders to coordinate efforts to transport citizens to their respective polling sites in Southern Nevada. These efforts included transporting eligible voters to early voting and election day sites to increase the number of persons who participate in the election process. Most recently, Brenda surveyed the residents from disadvantaged and rural areas to address the lack of transportation to and from medical necessity appointments. Since, COVID-19 there exists a widening gap in transportation services. Due to the lack of qualified drivers many patients are unable to receive transport to much needed medical appointments.

Brenda has worked with local and federal agencies to attempt to bridge the gap in services that are necessary to promote programs that bring self-sufficiency and well-being to Nevada residents. As Managing Member of F.A.I.T.H., Brenda has secured memorandums of understanding to facilitate behavioral health services to its patients and wrap around services that would include transporting to various doctors’ appointments to encourage good health and preventive care.
